Happy New Year! What Will 2010 Bring? |
|
This is the time of the year when industry leaders look forward to the new year. With iPhones, NetBooks, etc., becoming commonplace, technology will continue to make big changes in how we do business.
Here are a few of the changes and trends we expect in 2010:
1. Continuing drive to reduce costs by going paperless.
- Businesses will continue to reduce
their expenses by eliminating
paper and postage and
will send email bills
to customers.
- Companies will communicate more with
their drivers using electronic devices,
with email and GPS as driver tools.
2. On-line banking and bill paying will continue to grow.
- More people and companies will want the ease-of-use and record-keeping you get with internet banking and payments.
- New credit card security rules will make it safer to use the internet for credit card processing.
3. The economy will continue to improve and businesses will start to see activity pick up in construction, recycling and special events.
4. The Government will continue to offer green business incentives and push environmental controls. These will probably require more record-keeping and additional rules on landfills and recycling. |

Joke of the Week: Helping with the Housework |
|
Housework
was a woman's job, but one evening,
Janice arrived home from work to find
the children bathed, one load of laundry
in the washer and another in the dryer.
Dinner was on the stove, and
the table set. She was astonished!
It turns out that Chuck had read an article that said, 'Wives who work full-time and had to do their own housework were too tired to have sex'.
The night
went very well. The next day, Janice
told her friends all
about it. 'We had a great dinner.
Chuck even cleaned up the kitchen.
He
helped the kids do their homework,
folded all the laundry and put it
away. I
really enjoyed the evening.'
'But what about afterward?' asked her friends.
'Oh, that..........
Chuck was too tired.'
God is
good.
