With
the warm weather comes tornadoes and hurricanes. Protect
your precious computer information along wih the rest
of your equipment. Your database should be backed up nightly.
Total Activity Control offers a built in backup
feature which can be easily backed up to a USB
stick (in TAC this would take seconds) and kept in a safe
place. If you need help or assistance please call us.You
can obtain additional protection for a small monthly fee
by using a program such as Esureit or
Mozy, which can be obtained through their
websites. Your data will be backed up nightly and stored
in an off-site location for you to recover in the event
of a disaster.

Hint
of the Week: F10 Windows Pick List
If you're like me, you leave open multiple
windows in the course of your workday. A quick and
easy way to get back to where you've been is to press
F10. A screen of every open window will pop up. Just
click on the window you want, and you'll find yourself
there!

Joke of the
Week:
I provide technical support for the computer software
published by my company. One day, over the phone, I
was helping a customer install a product on a Macintosh.
The procedure required him to delete an old file. On
the Mac there is an icon of a trash can that is used
to collect items to be permanently deleted.
I told the customer to click on the old file and drag
it to the trash. Then I had him perform a few other
steps. As a reminder, I said, "Don't forget to empty
the trash.
Obediently he replied, "Yes, dear." -Reader's Digest
