Version of windows
Windows XP and XP-Professional

- Non-mapping station – 200 Megabytes

- Non-mapping station - 512 (Please note that later versions of windows usually require a minimum of 256 MB of memory. Rule of thumb is to double that number of memory installed to get the correct response time from your computer.
- Mapping stations – 1MB minimum
Video Memory
- Non-mapping – 32/64 MB memory
- Mapping - 64/128 MB memory
Printer
Standardized on laser printer (works on bubble jot, but high ink usage)
Monitor Size and Resolution
The TAC system allows you to have as many windows open as your system can support. This allows you to work on multiple sites, customers, etc., at the same time. Since the monitor is your view of the data, the more space and higher resolution it supports. the more information you can see at the same time.
Currently we support resolutions of 1024 x 768 or better. We hope to expand this at the lower end to 800 x 600 in a later update.
We recommend a minimum of 19 inch monitor for clerical stations and 20+ inch for dispatching stations.
