TAC 2004 forms use codes to hold information like account types and rates codes. In each form wherever these codes are used, you will see a small arrow pointing down. If you click that arrow, you will see the list of codes.
All of these codes are kept in the database in a section called reference files. These reference files are critical to the software because they make using the database quicker and allow you to customize it for your company.
So you do not waste time, do not just start to go into reference files and take out or enter things. As you go though the software and find what each reference file is used for, then take out the demo info and put in your own.

Steps
This section will inform you on what to look for in order to edit reference files.
1) Go to any site in the Site Master by selecting
2) Click the Edit button at the bottom.
3) Next to the Market Type, click on the down arrow and you will see a box broken into two parts.
4) Look at the top of the box. Next to Description you will see a number. That number is the reference file number to use.
5) Now click the Undo button.
This section will show you how to edit or add reference files.
1) Go to Main Menu: Admin > Reference
2) In the list of numbers, double click on the reference file that you ether want to edit or add.
