Dispatching Work Orders

Dispatch Work Orders is a graphical mapping tool that supports the management of operations via work orders. This form supports such features as

• Recommend Next Job - Takes the current position of a work order, then calculates the actual driving time to all the available or un-scheduled work orders, and finally selects the closest work order that still has to be completed. You can then assign this work order to that date, route and driver.

• Lasso Tool - Takes all the work orders selected and calculates the total driving distance, time and quantity and allows you to bulk-assign them to a date, route and driver. (You must first select an group of work orders on the map.) Excellent tool for zone dispatching.

• Calculation Tool - Determines distance time for an existing route.
• Optimization Tool - Re-arranges the work order sequence so they are completed in the shortest distance and time.
• Form management features, which include
• Zoom to route
• Zoom to work order
• Show or turn off street display as a visual aid when zone dispatching
• Edit a specific work order to place on a route and modify additional information as needed.
