The steps to import your RRS (7.x) data into TAC are as follows:
1. Download the latest update for the version of Rent, Route and Service you are using.
2. Apply the update.
3. Run the File Update routine and select the check box to Create Version 8.0 Data.
4. Start TAC and open the Main Menu Admin/Database Utilities Import RRS Data Tab.
5. Select the RRS location and click Import Files command button.
6. TAC will close and a window will prompt you to click and the files will be imported.
The imported data files are always located at the default database location where you initially installed the TAC system. If you are in a network environment, you will have to copy the folder Data and associated files to the shared folder. The default data location for TAC is:
“C:\Program Files\Clear Computing, Inc.\TAC 2004\Data”
