Create a Standing Order

A video of this tutorial is available here.

A standing order is the way to put a customer on a re-occurring job and know when to go back to that job and do the service.

Standing Orders are created on the Standing Orders Edit Form.  You can always get to this form from the Main Menu or Site Master. ( See below)

Steps

1. Click on the Edit Tab of the Standing Orders Form.

2. Click the Add New  button at the bottom of the form and the fields you can type into will be yellow.

3. Type the site number in the Site # field, or find your site by searching using the small magnifying glass button next to the Site # field.

4. Some fields have codes that you can select by clicking on the small arrow button next to the field.

5. The following fields are needed for the standing order to work properly.

a)      Service Interval is how often you need to go back to the site: daily, weekly, monthly or yearly.

b)      Service Interval # is the time frequency of the service interval (e.g., 1 w = once a week)

c)      Last Service is the last time that they were serviced.  Put the last date that they were serviced at this location.

d)      Next Service is the next time that they will be serviced.

e)      Type Work Order is what type of service that is being done at this location (e.g., S = service ticket).

f)        Rate Code lets you know what will be billed at this site when you convert this work order to an invoice.

6.     Click the Save button.  When you want to close the form, click the Done button.
