(Optional. Only if you use work order to manage your work)
Work Orders are used to record any instructions or rate information for a specific job for a customer. The Work Order form has several areas, with a variety of fields you will use depending on your business methods.
A basic use of a work order is to record job-specific information, and give the customer a work order or reservation number that they can use if they call back. With this number, you can rapidly location the information about the job with a minimum of delay.
From the Site Master, click on the Work Order Tab and right-click on the grid. Select Add from the action menu that pops up. This will bring up a form to add a new work order.
Notice that market type and rate are automatically populated from the Site Master.
Enter special instructions for the driver.
Enter a note for the invoice for the service.
Press F1 with work order displayed to get further explanation of work order layout and glossary of terms.
Click the command button Save and the TAC system will assign a unique work order number which you can then give to the customer.
Now you can immediately print the work order by clicking on the Search Tab, then right-click to print the work order.
