• Exclude deliveries for sites beyond credit limit
• Select specific routes or zones, Account Market type, Account Status (COD) or any combination.
• Sensitive to manually created tickets from call-in customers
• Force ticket generation for Julian-only account even if an existing delivery ticket is in place. i.e., forced delivery every 7 days, great for commercial accounts.
• Delivery quantity size
Work order (ticket) generation steps are as follows:
1. Update degree days and then use degree day grid control under Admin. Each day, you get your local paper and get the degree-days for yesterday. Go to menu option “Admin/Degree Day management” and add yesterday's date and degree days. Click the “Add” button. Alternatively, if you have duplicated last year's degree days, bring up the date, change the degree days and click the “Save” button. Then using the grid action menu
a. Update year-to-date
b. Update standing orders
2. Select “Generation of Standing Orders” from Dispatch menu.
3. Select delivery date range until the end of the delivery period and back a full year to pick up any sites that have advanced a delivery date because of cold weather.
4. Select Check existing work order back a year and through the delivery date. This tells the system that if a work order (ticket) is open, not to generate a new ticket.
a. Exceptions to above
i. Julian-only accounts always gets work order, even if site has an existing work order.
ii. If an open work order exists, the system recalculates the delivery date based upon the scheduled date of the open work order (ticket), and generates a ticket if required by degree-day or day calculation from the scheduled date. Assumes a tank level of 82% (propane) 100% for fuel oil
5. Review for late non-payers
6. Go through list and mark Y to N for customer who should not get a fuel delivery
7. Set the scheduled date to be the last date in the delivery period, i.e., Sunday
8. Select “Create Work Orders” to have all tickets / work orders created
9. Go to Reports/Dispatch and generate tickets and print tickets for each of the routes if you are dispatching via manual tickets, else use the F4 screen to move tickets to a day/driver and print them the day before they are run.
