Standing Orders are a tool that allows you to schedule work to be completed in advance, on a schedule based on any interval (number of days, weeks, months, or years) or predicted utilization.
In addition to being able to choose the type and number of intervals, you can enter several other fields that can be used to pre-populate the created work orders to minimize or eliminate any additional clerical effort for the dispatcher.
When the standing order is used to create a work order, the service date and next service date are automatically advanced so the system knows when to generate the next work order for the site.
Standing order conversion to work orders can be done for any period, e.g., tomorrow, next week or a whole month in advance.
