Billing Methods for Repeat Charges

 

TAC supports many billing methods

 

  1. In advance- invoice for service to be provided, close date in the future.
  2. In arrears – invoice for services provided, close date is today.

 

Any of the following can be billed in advance or arrears.

  1. Pro-rated – invoices a daily rate based upon number of days in the month and the rate entered on rental unit, multiplied by number of days service provided.
  2. Pro-rated fixed period – invoices a daily rate based upon a fixed period, e.g., 28 or 31 days,( amount/28 days) times number of days service provided.
  3. 28/31 day fixed –generates invoices for customers using a fixed billing cycle, e.g., 28 days. Only generates the invoice if service period is past the fixed billing cycle.
  4. Whole month – (any number of months) – generates invoices for customers using number of months serviced, provided greater than or equal to the number of months assigned to rental/repeat charge unit.
  5. Whole weeks – If a day of week has been entered in the service week field on a rental unit, the unit will be invoiced for the fractional week at the end of the period only if the day is within the close date.
