Adding A Service Location (Site)

The site is actually the service location where service is delivered. Sometimes a customer has more than one site, so each site has its own set of information kept on a Site Master.

1)      The form where you add a new site is located on the Site tab of the Site Master. (From the Main Menu, you open this form by selecting Site/Customer > Site Master > Sites.)

2)      On the bottom of the form click the Add New button. The fields where you can type turn yellow.

3)      If you want to link this site with another customer, click on  the small magnifying glass next to the Customer # field to select an existing customer.

If you do not enter an existing customer #, the software create a new one for you.

4)      Fill out the form with the site name, address, contact and other information. There are may fields that have an arrow next to them. You can click on the arrow with the mouse button and a list of possible entries will appear. Everything that appears in these lists can be set up by your company to give you the choices you need to run your business. Examples are Rate Codes, Sales Source, and Bill Type. These codes are kept in Reference Files and you can find out more about these files in the Help Guide.

5)      When you are done adding site information, click the Save button.

6)      Now a site number will be assigned.

7)      You can always make further changes to the site by clicking the Edit button on the bottom of the form. To close the form, click the Done button.
