Adding Customers and Sites

 

The system supports many short cuts to review and enter information, but for now we are going to follow a fixed pattern until you get used to the form controls. When adding customers and sites do the following

 

·        Edit Customer Master

·        Select Add New and add the customer billing name, address, phone number, etc.

·        Select Save

·        Click on Sites tab

·        Right-click in grid below and select Add from the “action menu” that pops up

·        This brings up the Site Master, populated with the customer information. Make changes for the service or site address and click Save.

 

You have now added a customer and its site.  Of course, you can go directly to the site and add new sites for a customer, or add a totally new customer.  The system keeps track and makes sure both the site and customer master forms are maintained correctly.  The trick is to use the correct customer code when adding multiple sites for an existing customer.
