Please read these simple notes about Total Activity Control before you get started.
1. Total Activity Control has windows containing forms, menus, buttons and grids (lists). Anything you do in the system is on a form, such as adding a charge for a service.
2.To open any form, you can use the menu across the top of the screen. You can also click on a button.
3. Items in a list, such as customers, or invoices, are shown in a grid. You can make things happen to items in a grid, such as print an invoice, or select a customer to view, by using your mouse as follows:

4. Almost all forms in the system have a Navigation Bar at the bottom of the form. When you want to add a new site, charge, payment, etc., you click on the Add New button on the Navigation bar. You can also click the Edit button to make changes to an existing site, charge, etc. The text boxes that you can type into all turn yellow when you are able to type in them. You must click the Save button to save the changes you have made, or click the Undo button if you decide not to save them. If you click Done, the window will close.

5. In Total Activity Control, there are customers who may have one or several sites (service locations) where you can perform a service or make a delivery. Usually, the billing address is part of the customer information. All customer information is kept in a form called the Customer Master. Information about each site is kept in the Site Master. When you do a service or make a delivery for a location, you will be working on the site. You can also see all the customer's sites and their complete service and financial information from the Customer Master.

6. Short Cuts and Hints
You can only type into fields that have a background color, such as yellow. This is true for forms you fill out and forms you use for searching.
You can have many windows (forms) open at the same time. To see what they are, or find a form you may have hidden behind another, press the F10 button on your keyboard, or go to the Main Menu: Windows > Windows List.
Many forms
let you easily search for a site,
customer, etc., by clicking
the small magnifying glass button next to the
field.
.
Many
forms let you find a site from a list of sites
you recently worked on by clicking the little site
history button
next to the site field.
Be sure to watch the how-to videos to get familiar with the system. All forms work the same way, so the system is really easy to learn and use. You can always press the F1 button on your keyboard when you are working in any form to get help for that form. To find out what other features are in Total Activity Control, please see the Help Guide, available by pressing F1.
