Clear Computing Announces Integrated Text Messaging
July 31, 2007
Tinton Falls, NJ - Clear Computing, developer of the Total Activity Control operations management system, announced today that they will be supporting integrated text messaging in their newest release of their popular software platform. Text messaging will enable office staff to send messages such as work orders and driving directions to drivers’ cell phones.
“Many of my customers have been asking for this,” said Joel Smith, Chief Technology Officer of Clear Computing. “This integration will give order takers and service dispatchers an easy, inexpensive way to send important service route updates or new orders to their drivers. Text messages can be saved to the cell phone so that the driver can re-read the message and not have to remember or write down a service address. The driver can also reply to the message and verify receipt.”
The Total Activity Control system will provide special short formats for work orders and other messages, and will store cell phone number emails for drivers. Click here for more detailed information.
